Woman's Chuck E. Cheese Facebook Live Stream Lands Her In Police Custody

Woman Arrested After Facebook Live Video
Polk County Sheriff's Office/Facebook

This is another crazy story for the book of World’s Dumbest Criminals.

A woman down in Polk County, FL, has found herself in jail…all thanks to a Facebook Live video she posted from Chuck E. Cheese’s!

Markesha Wilkerson, 18,streamed live for viewers from the popular kiddy restaurant, running after Chuck E. like she was one of the damn kids. In her excitement (and stupidity), she must’ve forgot that she had warrants out for her arrest for charges of improper display of a firearm and failure to appear to court.

Turns out, though, that the Polk County police use Facebook Live regularly to search for and investigate people, and guess who they found? Markesha hanging out with Chuck E.  They quickly snatched her up at the restaurant and threw in her in jail!

Of course, everyone roasted this girl on Twitter for being this dumb and getting caught!

The county sheriff agreed with the sentiments. “Crazy criminals are appreciated, stupid criminals are appreciated. We recommend that if you are wanted, to post on Facebook or Instagram and let us know where you are,” Sheriff Grady Judd said sarcastically. “If you are a wanted person with outstanding warrants or pick-up orders, it’s probably not a good idea to go on Facebook Live.” Uhh… DUH!

Markesha, girl, you deserved to get caught for this, honestly. Even if the cops weren’t actively looking through Facebook, somebody else could’ve easily spotted you and ratted you out. SMH…when are people going to learn that crime and social media don’t mix? Not condoning it, but common sense should tell you, if you’re on the run, you need to stay low!
